FAQ

Ordering

What size should I order?

We’ve taken a bit of the science out of this for you by addressing pixels, resolution, aspect ratio, contrast, saturation, etc.  All you need concern yourself with is:

1. How big is the space i have for display.

2. How far away will people be when viewing canvas.

In a normal home situation, our 30×30 canvas viewed from 6-7 feet  is optimal.  If the typical viewing distance is 3-4 feet then you may wish to order 24×24.

On a personal note, since most of these images are not photo-realist but rather disabiguous, the criteria becomes more “how it moves you” as opposed to “is it pixel for pixel accurate”.

Custom Prints

Yes you can order a custom print where you select the image, the size and the medium.  We have the ability to print canvas up to 60″ by 20′,  photo paper up to 48″ wide, and can even have one of our artists create a beautiful oil, watercolor, or acrylic painting.  Just send us a note on the Contact Us page to let us know what you have in mind.

How do I place an order?

Find the image you’d like, pick the size then click on ‘Add to Cart’.

What sizes are available?

Our standard sizes are from 10″  x10″ to 32″ x 48″.  You will see the sizes available in the drop-down box on the product page.  Certain sizes are not available due to the *aspect ratio of the image.

Canvas prints can be up to 5.24′ by virtually any length as a custom order.

Photopaper prints, which will plan on adding to our product line in the 4th quarter, can be any size up to 53″ width and virtually any length as a custom order.

Realistically, the size of the print will be limited by the size of the image (pixels), the viewing distance, and the quality of the image.  We will be happy to work with you on any special needs.

*The aspect ratio of an image describes the proportional relationship between its width and its height.
