New features include: elongated objects oriented on the brightest stars in this region (which are located just off the edge of the picture); rapidly expanding plumes of material around young stars; and protoplanetary disks.<\/p>\n<p>This color photograph is a composite of separate images taken at the wavelengths of<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-724 alignright\" title=\"Gas Plume Near the Edge of the Orion Nebula\" alt=\"Gas Plume Near the Edge of the Orion Nebula\" src=\"http:\/\/hubbleart.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/opo9229aES.png\" width=\"360\" height=\"348\" srcset=\"http:\/\/hubbleart.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/opo9229aES.png 400w, http:\/\/hubbleart.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/opo9229aES-300x290.png 300w, http:\/\/hubbleart.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/opo9229aES-90x87.png 90w, http:\/\/hubbleart.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/opo9229aES-150x145.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>three abundant elements in the nebula: Hydrogen, Oxygen and Nitrogen.
